Competition Team

Do you have the desire to be great? Weightlifting and barbell training is HARD, but it can be one of the most rewarding journeys you ever start. We only work with those individuals who are COMMITTED to hard work and long-term self improvement, both inside and outside of the gym, regardless of skill and experience level.  Mentality over talent!

This opportunity is reserved for those committed and dedicated athletes who are looking to compete in the sport of weightlifting as their primary sport with the intention of competing for national and international medals.

The team, which is comprised of male and female athletes ages 11 and up train anywhere from 3 to 6 days depending on age and ability. Only once the athlete has shown efficient technique will they be able to compete locally. As technique and strength improves, the athlete will have opportunities to qualify for national and eventually international competitions.

The standard is high, both on and off of the platform.  While the goal for our athletes is to compete for excellence on the platform, we strive also to prepare our athletes to be high performers and compete for excellence OUTSIDE of the gym as well.  No dickheads allowed!

SCHEDULE

Members and athletes sign up for a set frequency and start time. While training blocks start every hour, member’s training is largely not confined to an hour in length. Here’s our training schedule:

Monday: 9:00am-12:30pm, 3:30pm-7:30pm

Tuesday: 9:00am-12:30pm, 3:30pm-7:30pm

Wednesday: 9:00am-12:30pm, 3:30pm-7:30pm

Thursday: 9:00am-12:30pm, 3:30pm-7:30pm

Friday: 9:00am-12:30pm

Saturday: 9:00am-12:30pm
